I lack patience
So, I'm still waiting to hear from the new employer. All I want to know is my start date but I have to wait. I'm normally not so bad at waiting, but this time it just seems to be impossible. I think I'm driving everyone insane when I witter on about it, but I can't help it. I want to know NOW, not tomorrow!

I can't seem to get Last.FM to load up properly. Is anyone else out there who uses this website having any difficulties?

I've also finally got myself the new Muse album and I have to say I'm in love. Definitely one for the weekly listenings!! I wouldn't mind trying to get to see them play the MEN in November.

Nothing else to report on... The summer sun still remains... For now...

Summer Sun.

Well it's finally here. The Summer that is. I don't know how long it will last for, it'll probably rain next week or snow or something.

Anyway as you are well aware I got offered the job and I received my contract and pension details through the post on Wednesday. I quickly sent everything back to them on Thursday and I've just called them to see if they received it ok. They did, so now I'm waiting patiently to find out when I start.... I hope they don't keep me in suspense long. I hate waiting.

The husband has a job interview / induction type thing at Toyota. He had to be there for 11am and he won't finish untill 4pm. He's gonna be knackered later because he's on nights this week and he'd normally be in bed now. Fingers crossed though that it all goes well. Who knows he might even be handing in his notice sometime soon....

Meanwhile I'm trying to spend as much time with Miss-J as possible, I'm gonna miss her like hell when I have to go to work. I know she's going to be in safe hands though and my Mum will be saving me £££'s on childcare. Thanks Mum, you're one in a million!!

The husband and I went to watch Superman Returns on Saturday night and as I'm not a massive fan of the other films I have to say I was really suprised. It was really good. Well worth going to watch. The only thing I didn't really like was that it was 3 hours long and my bum ached after a little while of sitting in the same position.

Yesterday we took Miss-J to the beach and she loved it! I've never taken her before, I dunno why. It killed a couple of hours and Miss-J loved making sand castles... Even the husband joined in!

So, everythings good in my life at the moment. Now all I need for it to be perfect is the husband to get this job and then we can move to a house with a garden. Whoopee!

I received a letter this morning about the job interview I had attended and I'm pleased to tell the world that I have been offered the job. How cool is that!!!

All comments welcome. I'm too excited to blog at the moment, I'll update later on tonight.

On a lower note, I have a dentist appointment today. Urgh.

And so we welcome Becca...
My new renter this week is Becca with her blog Hot House Momma and this is what she has to say about herself...

I'm a somewhat sane mom of a boisterous 3 year old son and an intoxicating baby girl of 5 months. A unexceptional wife to my loving husband of almost 3 years. Life is good.

Go on over and check out her most recent entry. It's about her holiday to Cabo. Hilarious!

So today I haven't really done much. Mainly housework, which is never ending. The intense
heat has turned Miss-J into a ratty little madam. It's also made her want to nap during late afternoons which is no good because when it comes to bedtime all she wants to do is play with her toys. Lastnight it was gone 9pm before it was all quiet upstairs. She was awake at
6.30am!

My DS Lite still hasn't been delivered. The guy I've bought it from has made up some bizzarre story about having left it at his old property and his ex flatmate having to post it back to him. I've emailed him this evening to find out if his "ex flatmate" has even posted it, but really in my mind I'm asking "did you even have one to sell in the first place??". Anyway, I'm not one to moan in the first instance but I will be requesting a refund if it's not here by Monday!

Miss-J has a development review tomorrow at the Doctors, which should be fun. They'll check her height, weight and other things like speech. I hope they'll be able to get some English out of her, she still speaks in her own little language. After that we're heading on down to my Mums. Might even take Miss-J to the Madhouse.

Yuck, I have bad period pains today. It actually feels like someone is stabbing me in my tummy with a kitchen knife and to make matters worse we have no parcetamol in the house. Not only that, I just don't seem to be able to move my arse over to the shop to buy some. I might just go on a mad house-hunt. I'm sure I had some stashed somewhere...

Oh wow, look at the time. I better get preparing some tea before settling down to an ever eventful evening of Big Brother. Yay!
Two more video clips...
... and a post to follow.

Getting back into the swing of it...
Yes, it's true. I'm back. Have you missed me?? Surely not!

Anyway the reason behind my sparse blogging is just family life. Miss-J seems to be taking up most of my day and then I have the usual housework on top, so theres not much time left to kick back and relax - Other than when Big Brother is on. I'm addicted this year, so bad.

So, lets get things done....

Update:

Our BBQ and night out was fantastic!
I have purchased a Nintendo DS Lite. Yay! But it's not been delivered yet =(
I am on a diet and taking up regular exercise.
The husband and I have decided we need to catch some summer sun abroad next year, nothings been decided yet though.
Um. and. Um. I have another interview!!!

It's on Monday 10th July and it's with Connexions to work at my local Careers office. Ooh exciting. The job role is pretty much what I used to do when I worked for a local training provider. I'm excited and nervous, this would be a great job for me and I have always wanted to work with Connexions. Anyway we'll see. Lets just hope I don't stuff it up like the last interview I attended!

The weather here has been amazing. It's just a shame that whenever the husband books a weeks holiday and we plan to do some exciting things it always rains. Last week we took Miss-J to Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm, which was good. Apart from it raining. I think Miss-J enjoyed the little play area more than the animals.

On Sunday Miss-J spent the afternoon with my sister (Miss-Attitude) and came back as mucky as ever, but she had fun and we got some peace and quiet.

Yesterday we decided to take a drive up to Arrowe Country Park. Miss-J had a play about in the park and then the husband and Miss-J played some football. Heres some footage from the past few weeks...

The news, keeps on getting worse.
I've just got up out of bed. Sat down to check my emails and read the latest news updates and came across this shocking story...

Babysitter rapists await jail term ruling.

Two babysitters who raped and sexually assaulted a 12-week-old girl will find out later if their jail terms are being increased.

Alan Webster, 40, from Hatfield in Hertfordshire, is serving a minimum six-year term while his co-accused Tanya French, 19, also from Hatfield, was imprisoned for five years.

A panel of five senior judges, headed by the Lord Chief Justice, Lord
Phillips, will decide of the sentences were "unduly lenient".

The judges have been urged to raise the length of the original sentences by the Government's senior law officer, Attorney General Lord Goldsmith QC.

Lord Goldsmith said at a recent hearing that the crimes committed by
Webster and French had "shocked and outraged public opinion".

Webster, 40, and French, 19, of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, raped and indecently assaulted the baby and took photographs of the horrific abuse.

Webster was jailed for life in January after pleading guilty to rape, indecent assault, permitting indecent images to be taken of a child and making indecent images.

A judge at St Albans Crown Court set a minimum term of six years in Webster's case - meaning he must serve at least that amount of time behind bars before he can be considered for parole.

French was jailed for five years and given an extended licence period of five years after admitting the same charges.

The baby's mother has described the sentences given to the pair as a
"joke". She was unaware of the abuse until detectives visited her after
finding photographs detailing the horrific abuse at Webster's home.

Webster, described as "evil and depraved", also pleaded guilty to a
separate charge of indecently assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

Lord Goldsmith said he was asking the court to review sentences imposed for "offences of the gravest depravity against an innocent defenceless baby and another young girl".

The teenage victim and the baby's family were in court for the
hearing.

Lord Goldsmith said the cases of Webster and French were
"exceptional in the nature of what took place and their depravity".

He told the judges: "You may think that, having seen the photographs, that what took place was almost beyond comprehension.

"The acts of those two offenders will have done incalculable damage to the baby and her mother".

People like this shouldn't be allowed back into the community. I was outraged that someone could be so sick and twisted to do this to a baby!!

Views and opinions would be good...

Oh, oh, oh. WOW!!!
The underbust corset is here and it looks amazing on! I have a teenie weenie waist!!! The corset is a 26inch waist and that's closed AND I can close it comfortably. I won't be having it fully closed when we go out as I have a feeling it may get a little too tight after a while, but overall I am really happy with my purchase and as it only cost me £26 I'd say it was a total bargain!!!

Oh and another plus today. My Step-Dad text me this morning to say that my phone has arrive. Yay!! I'm off round there soon to pick it up =)
It couldn't get any better.
I'm up real early this morning, only so I can make sure I catch the postman. He apparenty knocked on Saturday morning, but I was alseep and didn't hear his knock. I'm waiting for the rest of my outfit to be delivered, so I really don't want to miss him. He should be bringing two corsets and the shrug to match my skirt. No doubt there will be nothing but bills, it would be just my luck!

Miss-J is still alseep. She was awake at 5.30am playing with her Balamory dolls. I went in to give her a book to settle down with and within 5 minutes she was back asleep again.

My friend came round lastnight to do my hair. I went for the white streaks again and they look so much better than the last time I had them. Miss-J kept calling my friend "Hadie".... Her name is Kadie. She can be too cute sometimes!

Haven't got a lot planned for today to be honest. Gonna try and get as much housework done as possible this week, bin some rubbish and clean up my yard a bit more. If all my items get delivered this morning then I'm going to take Miss-J to the park for a couple of hours. The weather is lovely outside. Summer is finally here, and we're going to take full advantage of the nice weather!!

Oooh and I should be getting a new phone at some point this week. Yay!

=)
